Brookfield police said they arrested three men, one on drug trafficking charges, after seeing one of them urinating Feb. 15 in the 8000 block of Addison Road.

The urinating man was identified as Jerel M. Norman, 22, of Mercer County Jail, who was charged with public indecency, police said.

While dealing with Norman, police said, they saw two men leave a car and disappear behind an apartment building.

Trumbull County 911 said there was an arrest warrant on Norman, but then corrected the information to say it was for Jamal Norman, police said.

The driver of the car, a 20- year-old woman from Columbus, said Jamal Norman was one of the men who left the car, police said.

Jamal Norman, 22, of 412 Lincoln St., Sharon, was found in an apartment and arrested on the Liberty Township warrant, police said.

Police, who smelled marijuana coming from the car, asked for permission to search and, upon receiving the OK, found a bag of cocaine that contained “numerous separate packages of cocaine,” a bag of marijuana and a burned “blunt,” a cigar containing pot, they said.

Police said they learned Tra’Donta G. Davis, 22, of 398 Malleable St., Sharon, had been sitting where the drugs were found and located him in the same apartment where Jamal Norman was arrested, police said.

Davis has been charged with cocaine trafficking and possession of marijuana.
