Brookfield Elementary School students raised $13,250 in the school’s Read-A-Thon, a fundraising project in which students solicited sponsorships to make donations for how much they read.

The 368 students eclipsed the goal of $9,000 thanks to 508 sponsors.

The money will be used to buy Chromebook computers and fund field trips and other school activities.

Drew Darby raised the most money as an individual, $745, and Jessica Zebroski’s kindergarten room raised the most money as a class, $1,565.

The photo shows the students who read the most minutes: Maci Phillips, David “Judah” DeJoy, Joshua Bentley, La’Rie Williams and Hunter Hoskin.
