Masury-Brookfield Women’s Club has named Julianne First as its 2019 scholarship winner.

She received $500 at the club’s May 13 banquet.
Julianne, the daughter of Jay and Debbie First, just graduated from Brookfield High School, where she served as senior class vice president and was a member of National Honor Society, student counsel, and the marching band, and played soccer and softball and ran track and cross country.
Julianne won the 2018 Rotary Youth Leadership Award.
Outside of school, Julianne volunteered for the Brookfield Township Outreach Association’s annual Thanksgiving dinner, the township Easter egg hunt and the Backpack Program.
Julianne plans to study psychology at the University of Akron, with the intent of going on to law school.
