A Masury woman suffered a suspected serious injury when the motorcycle she was a passenger on hit a sign pole Aug. 8 in Masury, Brookfield police said.
Patricia A. Edwards, 62, of 8103 Davis St., was not wearing a helmet, police said. Brookfield Fire-Rescue transported her to Sharon Regional Medical Center, police said.
Jordan R. Perez, 31, of 8091 Davis St., was driving the custom-built bike eastbound on Davis Street when he lost control and the bike hit the sign at Ira Street at about 25 mph, police said.
Perez was not hurt.
UPDATE: Perez pleaded no contest Aug. 25 to charges of failure to control and driving without a motorcycle license and was fined $50.
