NEWS On the Green has an online presence, but it is our print edition that attracts the most readers, advertisers and donors. Although newspapers are seen as a dying industry, many people in Brookfield, Masury and Yankee Lake still want a traditional newspaper, something they can hold in their hands and keep around the house and read as they have time. Although NEWS On the Green has persevered for 36 issues, it has been a struggle. We have had our good months but overall we are not supported to the level that is necessary for NEWS On the Green to continue long term.
