Brookfield Over the Hill Gang President Jean Kozarich said she misses the group’s monthly meetings and would like to start them up again.

It just isn’t the time to do it, she said.

Two things have to happen, Kozarich said: the COVID-19 pandemic has to “calm down” and the Brookfield trustees have to reopen the social hall, which has been closed, except for Election Day, since March.

Kozarich said she has received calls from members and entertainers asking when the group will resume its monthly gatherings.

“I want to keep this going, but I can’t do anything until the trustees can open the banquet room,” she said.

promoSome group members have died during the hiatus, and it has been hard not seeing friends, Kozarich said.

“I’m still here, and I miss everybody so much,” she said. “I really want to get back together.”

Kozarich asked that anyone with questions call her at 330-240-6049, or message her on Facebook.
