Brookfield Elementary School has begun registering students for kindergarten for the 2021-22 school year.

Registration is a two-step process that includes entering information online and providing documentation to school officials in person.

Children who will turn 5 years old by Aug. 1 are eligible to enroll.

Go to the district’s website at brookfield.k12.oh.us and click on the OneView Parent Portal and “register a new student.” If you already have a student enrolled in the school, use your existing login information.

The school will hold in-person registrations from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 6 p.m. March 2, and 3. Call the school at 330-619-5240 to make an appointment. Appointments will be set for every two minutes. Masks must be worn and temperatures will be taken.

At those appointments, parents and guardians must bring the child’s original birth certificate with raised seal; immunization records; two proofs of residency, such as utility bills or mortgage statements; custody papers, protection orders or other legal documents dealing with custody; a copy of the parent’s driver’s license, which must have an address matching the student’s residence; and any IEP information.
