A Sharon woman and a Warren man were seriously injured in a head-on crash at 5:19 p.m. July 4 on Route 7, Ohio Highway Patrol said.
Patricia K. Whalen, 48, and Samuel L. Miller, 66, each were transported to hospitals for treatment of life-threatening injuries, police said.
Whalen was southbound in a car when she went left of center into Miller’s northbound SUV, just south of the Brookfield Fire Station, police said.
Brookfield, Burghill-Vernon, Vienna and Hubbard firefighters assisted.
