Brookfield Township will hold a neighborhood garbage cleanup from 10 a.m. to noon Aug. 14 in the
West Hill area north of Warren Sharon Road.
Volunteers will gather at the parking lot at Warren Sharon Road and Kimberly Street to get bags, gloves,
grabbers and vests, and be assigned an area in which to pick up garbage.
Refreshments will be served after the cleanup.
The township received a $2,343 Go Green grant from the Geauga-Trumbull Solid Waste Management
District to pay for supplies and a roll-off container.
Future cleanups will be held in the West Hill area south of Warren Sharon Road, and in the Valley View
and Stevenson Heights neighborhoods.
