A Masury man found with methamphetamine has been sentenced to a short prison term.

Raymond F. Combine, 44, of 7467 Stewart Sharon Road, pleaded guilty March 24 to a charge of aggravated possession of drugs. Judge Ronald Rice sentenced him that day to 6 months in prison.

Brookfield police said they responded June 23, 2020, to Combine’s home on a report of an unwanted person who had slashed car tires.

Police said they found Combine in the driveway holding a knife, but he denied slashing tires. A neighbor said he saw Combine slash one of the two tires found to be cut.

During his arrest for criminal damaging, police said they saw a bag of meth fall from his pocket.

Combine was prosecuted separately for criminal damaging in Trumbull County Eastern District Court, and pleaded guilty or no contest to the charge Sept. 3, 2020.
