Brookfield Township will hold a scrap tire drive from 8 a.m. to noon Oct. 1 at the fire/road department, 774 Route 7.
The drive is open only to Brookfield residents. No businesses are allowed to participate.
Tires of no more than 20 inches can be brought in, whether they are on rims or not.
Federal law prohibits the transporting of more than 10 tires at a time, said township Road Supt. Jaime Fredenburg.
