Trumbull County commissioners have approved allowing Robinson Real Estate Investments to extend a sanitary sewer line on Lee Road in Brookfield to serve new homes.

Robinson has built two homes that connected to an existing sewer line, and wants to extend the line so it can build up to five more homes, said Chuck Miller, project manager for the Trumbull County Sanitary Engineer.

It will be up to Robinson Real Estate to pay for the extension, and it must get a permit to install from the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency, Miller said. The extension, if constructed according to the approved plan, will be maintained by the county.

Editor’s note: The Ohio EPA has since issued the PTI.
