Brookfield Township Trustee Dan Suttles held the first of the neighborhood meetings he has planned to reach out to township residents on Saturday, April 21, in what is commonly known as Lower Masury, off Broadway Avenue.

Suttles set up a canopy and offered coffee and doughnuts to residents who came out to talk to him. Discussions ranged from flooding to fireworks and history to past teachers in the school district.

Nine people attended the event. Suttles said he plans to do more such get-togethers at various locations in the township.
