The non-profit corporation supports people with gastrointestinal diseases and seeks to make others aware of the diseases and how they affect people’s lives. The GGG held the event to mark its first year, thank its supporters, announce scholarship winners and unveil plans for the new year, which include opening club organizations at three more colleges. Scholarship recipients were Michael Massucci of Howland, Erika Sitch of Warren and Madison Uhrin of Reynolds, Pa. Erin McCall was named Inflammatory Bowel Disease Patient of the Year.
