The 25th annual Brookfield High School Golf Scramble will be held June 11 at Yankee Run Golf Course.

During the past 24 years, the scramble has raised more than $100,000, which has been used to improve the athletic facilities at the school and in the community.

Listed below are some of the improvements the group has been able to make over the past several years:

  • Renovate the community park baseball field, $25,488.
  • Replace football press box roof (2013), $5,000.
  • Community park baseball fence (2013), $1,400.
  • Hall of fame display board (2012), $1,675.
  • New football scoreboard installation (2011), $1,900.
  • Football stadium sound system (2010), $6,850.
  • Brookfield Youth Little League fencing project (2009), $2,000.
  • Football field lighting (2008), $12,600.
  • Football field fencing and press box upgrades (2007), $4,900.
  • Construction of officials’room, Addison Field (2005), $3,500.
  • Football goal post installation (2004), $3,521.
  • Football press box renovation (2004), $2,650.
  • Community park baseball field renovation (2002-05), $13,524.
  • Wrestling mat (2002), $2,000.
  • Glass backboards in thehigh school gym (2001-02), $8,850.
