Trumbull County commissioners on May 23 awarded a contract to Rudzik Excavating Inc. of Struthers to expand sanitary sewer lines to Bedford and Stewart Sharon roads.
Rudzik’s bid of $1,029,703 was the lowest of three. The other bids topped $1.3 million.
Trumbull County Engineer’s Office designed the project to give sewer service to 41 homes on Stewart Sharon between Bedford and Hubbard Thomas Road and on Bedford from Stewart Sharon to Route 62.
