Hope Center for Arts and Technology Inc. in Sharon will hold open houses from 4 to 6 p.m. June 13 and 27 and July 11 and 25 to promote its Medical Assistant Degree Program.
Classrooms will be open and staff will be available to talk about the 10-month diploma program, which is no cost to qualifying participants.
Minimum requirements include being 18 years of age or older, having a high school diploma or equivalency, and successfully completing a three-step application process.
Classes run from 8:30 a.m. to 2:55 p.m. weekdays, and the program includes nine months of classroom training and a one-month externship.
Graduates will receive a diploma and sit for national certification exams.
Interested students also can stop at HopeCAT, 115 Anson Way, for an application or tour during weekday business hours.
Deadline for applying for the next program is July 31, with classes starting Sept. 4.
