Trumbull County commissioners on June 24 awarded a contract to Penn-Ohio Electric Co., Masury, to renovate the security system at the jail and replace the emergency generator.
Penn-Ohio’s bid of just over $4 million was the only one submitted, but was $300,000 less than the estimate of the project engineer, Professional Systems Engineering LLC, according to the commissioner’s meeting minutes.
