Society officials said they have been talking with Arcadia Publishing Co. about publishing a book of Brookfield and Masury historical photos.
Many Arcadia books of regional history are on sale at Leana’s Books in Hermitage.
Stevens said she will accept contributed photos of local buildings and places with historical significance for consideration. Original images are preferred as the photos must be scanned to certain specifications. Photocopies and previously scanned images are discouraged.

The society next meets at 7 p.m. Nov. 14 at the Briceland Funeral Services building at 379 State Route 7. Traci Manning of the Mahoning County Historical Society will talk about 19th-century Christmas traditions.
