The former office manager for a Brookfield construction company pleaded guilty Feb. 25 to charges of theft and attempted forgery for stealing money from the company.
Lyndsay A. Blakeman, 43, of North Lima, faces up to 180 days in jail and a $1,000 fine on each count. No sentencing date has been set.
Blakeman worked for Declan Construction when she embezzled nearly $28,000, said Brookfield police, who received the report Jan. 8, 2019.
