Brookfield High School graduated 69 students at a socially distanced commencement ceremony May 12 in the school auditorium.
The class valedictorians, all of whom received honors diplomas, are:
Justin Atkinson, who plans to attend the University of Findlay and has received a golf scholarship and other scholarships from the university. He also received the Alton and Sharon O’Neil and Richard T. Grosser scholarships. He received the outstanding student award in Physics, was a member of National Honor Society and Student Council, and was awarded a cord for community service.
Kayla Johnson, who received scholarships from the Brookfield Parents Association and the Brookfield Rotary Club. She received the outstanding student award in AP English, and was a member of National Honor Society and Student Council. She also received a cord in community service and plans to attend the University of Pittsburgh.
Carley Nastasi, who received a University of Akron Scholarship and was the outstanding student in Calculus. She was a member of National Honor Society and Student Council and received a community service cord.
Brady Reichart, who received a Mount Union College scholarship and a Brookfield Federation of Teachers scholarship. He was a member of National Honor Society and Student Council and received a cord in community service.
The class salutatorian is:
Anastasia Webb, who received a Brookfield Parents Association scholarship and was a member of National Honor Society. She plans to attend Kent State University.
Other honors diploma graduates are:
Gage Emery, who was a member of National Honor Society and plans to attend Lake Erie College.
Connor Filipovich, who plans to attend Thiel College on a scholarship. He also was awarded scholarships from the Brookfield Federation of Teachers and the Brookfield Parents Association, and was a member of National Honor Society.
Rebecca Litz, who received the Brenda Haun Scholarship and was the outstanding student in Spanish IV. She was a member of National Honor Society and Student Council and received a community service cord. She plans to attend Thiel College.
Dakota Obermiyer, who received Brookfield Parents Association and Brookfield Board of Education scholarships. He was a member of National Honor Society and received a community service cord. He plans to attend Youngstown State University.
Jake Shingledecker, who received Masury/Brookfield Women’s Club and Brookfield Parents Association scholarships. He was a member of National Honor Society and received a community service cord. He plans to attend Malone College.
Gage Williams, who was a member of National Honor Society and plans to attend Youngstown State University.
Graduates are:
Abigail Ankrom, who received received the outstanding student awards in Abnormal Psychology and Textiles I. She also was a member of National Honor Society and received a cord in community service. She plans to enter the workforce.
Kenneth Atkinson, who plans to enter the workforce.
Alexa Ayres, who plans to attend Kent State Trumbull.
Vincent Bayus, who plans to attend Youngstown State University on a scholarship. He received the outstanding student award in Chorus, was a member of National Honor Society and Student Council, and was awarded a cord for community service.
Emilee Bebech, who received the outstanding student award in Computer Applications II. She also was a member of National Honor Society and received a cord in community service. She plans to enlist in the Army National Guard.
Vaileen Bell, who plans to attend Kent State University.

Tyler Briggs, who plans to attend Geneva College.
Matthew Burns, who plans to serve an electrical union apprenticeship.
Zavier Chambers, who received the outstanding student award in Entrepreneurship and plans to pursue a career in music.

Samantha Craig, who plans to attend Kent State University.
Kasey Cunningham, who plans to attend the Trumbull Career and Technical Center Adult Education Program.
Michael Davis, who plans to enter the workforce.
Amber Espy, who was a member of National Honor Society and plans to attend the Sharon Regional School of Nursing.

Haley Gaylor, who plans to enter the workforce.
Hannah Groghan, who plans to enter the workforce.
Katie Hackett, who received a cord in community service, and plans to attend Youngstown State University.
Sarah Hackett, who received the outstanding student award in Sociology and was a member of National Honor Society. She plans to attend Cleveland State University.
Isabelle Hammond, who received a Merit Award from Thiel College and a Brookfield Parents Association scholarship. She received the outstanding student award in Human Physiology, was a member of National Honor Society and Student Council and received a cord in community service.
Stephen Hayes, who plans to serve an electrical union apprenticeship.
Lewis Hiner, who plans to enter the workforce.
Lillian Jamieson, who was a member of National Honor Society and plans to attend Kent State University.
Destiny Johnson, who plans to attend Youngstown State University.
Ashley Keep, who received the outstanding student award in Forensics, Mythology II and Painting I. She was a member of National Honor Society and received a cord in community service. She plans to attend Youngstown State University.

Thomas “T.J.” Kirila, who received the Red Cross Student Council Scholarship and the outstanding student award in 21st Century Citizenship. He was a member of National Honor Society and Student Council and received a cord in community service. He plans to attend Ohio State University.

Ryan Logan, who plans to attend the University of Akron.

Ashley Manners, who was the outstanding student in Concert Band and was a member of National Honor Society. She plans to attend Youngstown State University.

Ja’Mya McCoy-Parks, who received the Hunter Haines Memorial Scholarship and was the outstanding student in 3D Art I. She plans to attend the International Teaching English as a Foreign Language Academy.
