In the June print edition of NEWS On the Green, we announced that we had received $5,000 from the Journalism Emergency Relief Fund through the Google News Initiative, and that we planned to use the money to mail copies of the July NEWS On the Green to residents of the 44403 and 44438 area codes.
We spoke a little too soon.
Coordinating the project has been more burdensome and time consuming than we had imagined. While we still plan a mass mailing, it will be sometime in the future. For July, you will have to pick up NEWS On the Green at one of our distribution points, as usual, unless you have a subscription. The July edition comes out July 3.
