A Farrell woman charged with a felony for having drugs in her SUV during a traffic stop has pleaded
guilty to a reduced charge.
Erin N. Proctor, 29, was arrested by Ohio Highway Patrol Oct. 27 for speeding on Route 62 in
Brookfield, police said. An unspecified drug could be seen in plain view, police said.
Under a plea deal with prosecutors, Proctor pleaded guilty March 5 to a misdemeanor charge of attempted
possession of drugs. Trumbull County Eastern District Court Judge Marty D. Nosich sentenced Proctor to
10 days in jail, but said she could perform 80 hours of community service instead. He also fined her $600
and put her on 1 year probation
