Timothy Catheline
A Niles man has been charged with a felony sex offense for an incident that occurred July 15 in Brookfield, Brookfield police said.
A 35-year-old woman reported shortly after the incident that she had been asleep and awoke to Timothy T. Catheline having sex with her, police said.
Catheline, 37, was arraigned by Trumbull County Eastern District Court Judge Marty Nosich on a charge of sexual battery. As the charge is a felony, Catheline did not enter a plea. Nosich set a preliminary hearing for July 22.
Catheline is being held in Trumbull County Jail.
