Brookfield United Methodist Church will hold a community Fun Day Aug. 15.
The day will start with a worship service and prayer for the community on the green in Brookfield Center
at 10 a.m.
At 11:30 a.m., pet owners can get their pets blessed, and kids can draw with chalk on the sidewalk.
Chris Trinckes, who has started a walking club, will host a walk around the green at 1 p.m.
The church will sell Sloppy Joes, hot dogs, snacks and drinks.
“We just wanna get people out on the green, meeting each other, and relaxing,” said Pastor Dick Smith.
