Jazz musician and educator Harold Danko, a Masury native, will hold a residency April 11-14 at the Dana School of Music, Youngstown State University, his alma mater.
The residency will include a series of public concerts and lectures featuring Danko.
Danko, a pianist, will sit in with the YSU Jazz Ensembles for a kickoff concert at 7:30 p.m. April 11 in Kilcawley Center.
He will give a lecture and solo piano concert centering on his two recent recordings that were inspired by the works of Igor Stravinsky at 7:30 p.m. April 12 in Ford Theater.
Danko will discuss his Youngstown experiences and his career at 4 p.m. April 14 in Ford.
Danko will play his music with various YSU ensembles at 7:30 p.m. April 14 in Ford.
