Brookfield Township is seeking volunteers to be members of the Brookfield Township External Property Maintenance Code Appeals Board and the Brookfield Township Historic Commission, and to drive the senior citizens van.
The appeals board hears any appeals to actions of the code enforcement officer, who enforces the property maintenance code.
The commission oversees the properties in the Brookfield Township Historic District in Brookfield Center, including the township green.
The van provides low-cost ride-share service to seniors and the disabled to doctor’s offices, stores and other locations in and around Brookfield.
