Day set to place flags on veterans’ graves

Brookfield Township officials will place flags on the graves of veterans buried in Brookfield Township Cemetery on May 18.

Volunteers are invited to help in the effort. Meet at 9 a.m. at the cemetery.

Depending on the number of volunteers, the effort usually takes about two hours, said Cemetery Sexton Jaime Fredenburg.
