Brookfield Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame Committee has announced the Brookfield High School graduates who will be inducted as the Class of 2024. Those being honored are: Ray Blakeney (BHS 1989), Erin Hennessy Cockrell (BHS 1992), Kathryn Yazvac Ferrara (BHS 1974), Joan Ricciardi Humphrey (BHS 1975), Fred Paulenich (BHS 1959), and posthumous honoree Alex Nagy (BHS 1958).
Honorees were selected based on their high achievement in their respective fields and their contributions to society in general. The Class of 2024 is the fifth class of inductees honored since 2019.
Inductees, or their representatives, will be honored the weekend of Sept. 13 and 14 with various activities that will culminate with an induction brunch Sept. 14 at Tiffany’s Event Center, Brookfield. Information about purchasing tickets for the banquet will be announced in August.
