Toby Gibson has agreed to a five-year contract to stay on as superintendent at Brookfield Local School District.

Gibson, 51, was initially hired in 2019 after being a middle school teacher, elementary principal and middle school principal.

Under the contract the school board approved June 26, Gibson will be paid $106,080 this school year; $108,211 in 2025-26; $110,366 in 2026-27; $112,573 in 2027-28; and $114,824 in 2028-29.

The board also brought back Megan Marino as high school principal on a three-year contract. She will be paid $101,104 this year; $103,127 in 2025-26; and $105,189 in 2026-27.

Marino was first hired for the 2022-23 school year, having worked for Warren schools for seven years.
