Brookfield police have charged Larz K. Soos of Masury with six counts of criminal damaging for setting off an explosion that caused damage at six homes on July 4.
Chief Aaron Kasiewicz said police were seeking to contact Soos’ attorney to try to get Soos to turn himself in.
Police were called at about 10:30 p.m. July 4 and directed to the Soos home at 7917 Budd St., police said.
Police said they identified six people who had broken windows or other damage caused by the loud explosion.
Police were able to walk the yard at 7917 Budd and found fireworks debris and large mud holes.
Kasiewicz said police obtained records showing the purchase of fireworks by Soos, who is 19.
