Brookfield Police Chief Aaron Kasiewicz

Brookfield Police Chief Aaron Kasiewicz

Brookfield trustees have released a copy of their contract with Police Chief Aaron Kasiewicz.

Kasiewicz, who assumed his duties July 1, will be paid $62,000 under the one-year deal. His benefits are largely in line with the contract with the Ohio Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association.

The chief’s contract is based on the one the trustees had with the former chief, Dan Faustino.

Kasiewicz is to work 40 hours a week, but may work longer hours as needed without additional compensation. He is only eligible for overtime when the hours are reimbursed through a grant or contract.

The township also is providing Kasiewicz with use of a vehicle for official business and personal use “within reason.”
