The owner of Yankee Lake Ballroom has settled an ongoing dispute with the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency over management of the water well that serves the ballroom.
For much of this year, John Jurko had not had a professional operator of the water treatment system, EPA said. Jurko recently informed the EPA that James Waid has been named the operator.
Jurko also has paid a $1,000 civil penalty for violation of the EPA order.
