No serious injuries were reported from a two-vehicle, head-on crash at 8:36 a.m. this morning (Oct. 21) in Masury.

A car and a small box truck collided in the 8000 block of Warren Sharon Road.

Brookfield Fire-EMS said they checked out those involved but did not take anyone to a hospital.

Brookfield police and Ohio Highway Patrol investigated the crash. Warren Sharon Road between Owsley Street/Rebecca Street and Brookfield Avenue/Yankee Run Road was closed for about an hour.

UPDATE: Brookfield police have released a report of the accident.  Myrna S. Wells, 83, of 529 Brookfield Ave., Masury, was driving the car eastbound and went partially into the westbound lane “due to the angle at which it was traveling toward the rising sun,” police said. James A. Murphy, 41, of Mineral Ridge, was driving the box truck. Murphy had a passenger, Alan M. Kerkhoff, 28, of Warren. No charges have been filed.
