A Girard woman who disappeared from her workplace was found to have overdosed on 81 pills, Brookfield police said.

Police said they were called Jan. 3 to Addison Healthcare Center, 8055 Addison Road SE, with a report that a new hire had left without telling anyone she was leaving and had stolen prescription medication.

Police discovered that Ashley D. Logue’s car was still in the parking lot and asked permission to search the building for her even though employees said they had already searched, police said.

Logue, 28, was found in an employee bathroom leaned against a wall and hunched over, police said. A policeman administered Narcan, the opiate reversal drug, to Logue, and Brookfield Fire-EMS medical personnel took over her care upon their arrival. Logue was taken to a hospital.

Police said they determined she had taken 81 pills, including oxycodone, Percocet, morphine and Xanax.

Logue has been charged with felony theft of drugs. Trumbull County Eastern District Court does not list any scheduled court appearance for her.
