Work has begun on a major renovation project at Hilltop Gardens, the Trumbull Metropolitan Housing Authority apartment complex on Addison Road in Masury.
Master Renovation of Orrville was awarded a contract for $818,069, said Russ Osman, assistant director of TMHA. The company’s bid was the lowest of four, and the money comes from the authority’s annual modernization allocation.
The work will include new siding, roofing, gutters, lighting and paint.
“It’s quite a lot,” Osman said. “It’s gonna be a great asset to the community.”
Hilltop Gardens has 50 apartments in 23 townhouses.
