The Brookfield Warrior Hall of Fame, which honors the achievements of Brookfield High School athletes, teams and contributors, will hold an induction banquet at 6 p.m. Oct. 18 at Brookfield High School, 614 Bedford Road.

Tickets to the banquet cost $20 for adults and $5 for students in grades seven through 12 and are available at the school board office, 579 Bedford Road.

This year’s inductees are:

  • Larry Smoot, former golf coach. He was the 2019 Trumbull County Coach of the Year and the Ohio High School Athletic Association Coach of the Year
  • The 1991-92 Girls’ Basketball Team, which compiled a 20-5 record, was Trumbull Athletic Conference Section 8 champions, sectional champions, district champs and a regional finalist.
  • Norm McKnight, Class of 1995. He was TAC-8 First Team and All-County First Team member for football and a two-year starter at Dartmouth University.
  • Pete Sirianni, Class of 1998. He was a member of the 1995 TAC-8 First Team for golf, a 1996 OHSAA sixth-place finisher and he played three years at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Fla.
  • Brad Harnett, Class of 2007. He amassed a 122-47 career record in wrestling. He was a 2005 All League First Team member and an OHSAA seventh-place finisher.
  • Tori Thompson, Class of 2013. Thompson totaled 753 career track points and was a fifth-place finisher in the 300-meter hurdles in the 2012 state tournament.
