Golf

Letter winners were: Braydon Demaria, Cody Davidson, Joe Hook, Bray Coleman, Michael Pisarcik and Joe Russo.

The golf team was co-champion of the Mahoning Valley Athletic Conference with a record of 12-2 in conference and 13-2 overall. The team has won the MVAC title for three straight years. The golfers also finished second of nine teams at sectionals to advance to the Division 3 District match. Brookfield placed three golfers in the sectional top 10, Braydon Demaria at number three shooting 73, Cody Davidson at number four with 74 and Michael Pisarcik in 10th with a 78.

All Conference golfers are Braydon Demaria and Cody Davidson, first team; Joe Hook, second team; and Michael Pisarchik, honorable mention.

Volleyball

Letter winners were: Alexia Baker, Rylie Burdge, Brooke Montgomery, Sara Lindholm, Marae Craig, Alex Lapikas, Aeryn Berena, Alana Jervis, Elaina Boyce, Gracie Teal, Lily Horsman, Cassi Samios and Maci Phillips.

Rylie Burdge topped 1,000 career assists.

The team made it to the Division 7 Sectional Semi-Final game Oct. 14.

All-Conference honors went to Rylie Burdge, second team; and Cassi Samios, honorable mention.

In the Brookfield Middle School, the eighth-grade volleyball team was MVAC runner-ups. The team lost to Crestview 2-0 in the MVAC championship game Oct. 15.

Boys soccer

Letter winners: Jayden Duncan, Brandon Evans, Gianni Kolat, Adam McFarland, Max McClain, Conner Mihalcin, Ryland Mihalcin, Connor O’Brien-Bobbie, Brayden Reed, Andrew Richards, Matt Ryser, Jake Saum, Caleb Upshir, Ryan Warrender and Nick Zelinsky.

The team lost to Cardinal Mooney 8-0 in the Division 5 Sectional semi-final game Oct. 14.

Named to the All-Conference teams were: Brayden Reed, second team; and Jayden Duncan, honorable mention.

Girls soccer

The team made it to the Division 5 Sectional Semi-Final game.

Several gridders received All-Conference honors: Rico Smith, Devin Reardon and Nathan Kashmer, first team; Hunter Whitmore, Robbie Flynn, Cruz Torres and Blake Hammond, second team; and Brody Smith and Hunter Hoskin, honorable mention.

Several players also were named to the Northeast All-Inland District teams, which were selected by newspaper representatives. They are: Rico Smith, first team; Blake Hammond, second team; and Devin Reardon and Nathan Kashmer, honorable mention.

Rico Smith was named to the All-Trumbull County Team-Small Schools for running backs, Devin Reardon for defensive linemen, Nathan Kashmer for linebackers and Hunter Whitmore for defensive backs.

In Brookfield Middle School, the seventh- and eighth-grade team won the MVAC championship with a 38-8 victory over Newton Falls. The team finished the season 7-1.

Cross country

Letter winners were: Tyler Miller, Conner Mihalcin, Noah Burdge, Connor O’Brien-Bobbie, Delaney Williams, Alaina Payton, Ainaaloha Malufau, Isabella Williams and Kailyn Donaldson.

Delaney Williams and Alaina Payton ran in the regional meet Oct. 25.

Runners who were named honorable mention on the All-Conference team were: Conner Mihalcin, Noah Burdge, Ainaaloha Malufau and Alaina Payton.

Cheerleading
