Brookfield Elementary School has begun registering students for kindergarten for the 2026-27 school year.

Registration is a two-step process that includes entering information online, and meeting with school officials in person.

Children who will turn 5 by Aug. 24, the first day of school, are eligible to enroll.

Go to the district’s website at brookfield.k12.oh.us, click on “Final Forms” under the “Quick Links” section and click “New Account.” If you already have a student enrolled in the school, use your existing login information. Documents may be uploaded at this time or presented to school officials at your scheduled appointment.

The school, 614 Bedford Road, will hold in-person registrations from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 6 p.m. March 3 and 4. Call the school at 330-619-5240 to make an appointment. The school asks that only one parent or guardian attends registration; children do not need to be present.

Parents and guardians must present the child’s original birth certificate with raised seal; immunization records; two proofs of residency, such as utility bills or mortgage statements; custody papers, protection orders or other legal documents dealing with custody; a copy of the parent’s driver’s license, which must have an address matching the student’s residence; and any IEP information.

Anyone who does not have proof of residency can fill out a residency affidavit, which is available at the district website. Click on “About,” then “District Forms, scroll to “School/Students Forms” and look for “Residency Affidavit.”
