Brookfield Twp. Police Dept.’s 2025 Report
In 2025, the department responded to 6,798 calls, up from 6,243 calls in 2024. These numbers were derived from Trumbull County 911 records and do not include walk-in reports, said Police Chief Aaron Kasiewicz. He said he will be replacing this format with a more accurate and detailed one for future reports.
In the following breakdown of the year-end report, 2024 figures are in parentheses:
- Officers wrote 939 (907) reports – 805 (864) incident reports and 134 (43) crash reports.
- Officers made 317 (343) arrests – 9 (27) were drug-related; 7 (15) were firearms-related; 40 (31) for theft, burglary or breaking and entering; 47 (40) for assault, domestic violence or violating a protection order; 22 (21) for resisting arrest, fleeing or obstruction; and 68 (62) on warrants.
- Officers issued 411 (397) traffic citations – 119 (59) for equipment-related offenses; 288 (no comparable figures for 2024 were available) for moving violations; and 4 (a new statistic for 2025) for parking violations.

- Disabled vehicle assists, 183 (171).

- Alarm drops, 238 (259).
Members of the department patrolled 136,582 miles (150,112) and used 8452 gallons of gas (9,539). The gasoline figure does not include December, for which a count was not available.
