The Brookfield Township Cemetery cleanup will be held April 15-17. That means township workers will remove flowers and other decorations from graves during that time. If you have decorations on a grave that you would like to keep, remove them prior to April 15. They can be returned to graves April 18.
Cemetery Sexton Jaime Fredenburg said the cleanups are done to remove items that have become “unsightly,” especially items that have been forgotten or abandoned.
