Beginning May 20, Route 62 in Hubbard and Brookfield townships between the Pennsylvania line and Interstate 80 will have lane restrictions for road resurfacing, the Ohio Department of Transportation said.
Kirila Contractors Inc. of Brookfield has been hired for the $4.1 million paving project.
Route 7 southbound at the intersection with Route 62 will be closed starting June 1 as part of the project. The detour will take motorists onto Chestnut Ridge Road.
The sections of roadway at Bedford Road and Broadway Avenue in Masury that were paved in 2023 will not be resurfaced.
The work is expected to be completed in October.
