Brookfield police are seeking a man who is one of three people accused of squatting in a home on Springdale Drive.
The wanted man is Shane T. Link, 35, who is charged with breaking and entering. The other two are Brayden Crockett, 19, and Brittany L. Hume, 35, who each face the same charge. Crockett’s case has been bound over for a Trumbull County grand jury, while Hume faces a preliminary hearing on July 30 in Trumbull County Eastern District Court.
Police said they were dispatched June 19 when a caller reported that the Springdale home had been vacant for about a year, but that in the past week the caller had seen a car in the driveway and a man, woman and young child in the yard.
The license plate on the disabled car belonged to Crockett but had not been assigned to this car, police said.
Crockett apparently told a neighbor that he was doing work for the realty company and had permission to be there, police said.
