The Brookfield Warrior Hall of Fame, which honors Brookfield High School athletes, teams and contributors to the school’s athletic program, has announced its Class of 2026: Eugene Malandro, contributor; Tim Taylor; Jim Hideg; Shawn Hammond; Lauren Hawley; Augustus Necastro; the 1938-39 and 1939-40 girls basketball teams; the 1961 golf team; the 1977 girls track team; and the 1990 football team.
Inductees will be introduced at the Oct. 23 home football game and inducted at a banquet Oct. 24, said committee member Ronda Bonekovic.
The hall committee is seeking ways to contact inductees, especially those who played on the teams. Send information to Taylor at timothy.taylor@brookfieldschools.us
