The Over the Hill Gang, a social group for seniors, returns Sept. 24 for its first full-fledged event since the
onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. They will meet from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church of
Hubbard, 22 Westview Ave.
The group used to meet in Brookfield – and was then called the Brookfield Over the Hill Gang – but
President Jean Kozarich soured on her treatment by Brookfield officials.
The Over the Hill Gang will have a meal, at $5 a person; bingo; raffles; entertainment from singer Dan
Logan; and plenty of social time.
“We’re gonna celebrate everybody’s birthday, because we didn’t celebrate anybody’s birthday last year,”
Masks will be optional.
The Over the Hill Gang will meet the last Friday of every month, with the exception of Nov. 19, and Dec. 17, which were moved a week earlier to avoid the holidays.
For information, call Kozarich at 330-240-6049.
