Firefighters break down a door to get into a home Thanksgiving afternoon in the 6700 block of Stewart Sharon Road in Brookfield, west of Route 7.
Flames were seen coming out of the basement and smoke from several areas of the roof.
Firefighters were dispatched at 4:55 p.m.
Eagle Joint Fire District, Hubbard, and Vienna Fire assisted.
