A Warren woman who was a caretaker at a group home in Brookfield recently pleaded guilty to three counts of disorderly conduct, ending a prosecution that alleged she had stolen money from three residents.

Arrelle M. Robinson, 35, pleaded guilty Jan. 18 and was fined $150 in Trumbull County Eastern District Court. She also was ordered to pay $173 restitution, which she has since paid.

Robinson was initially charged with three felony counts of theft for stealing money that belonged to residents of a Warner Road group home owned by Viaquest Residential Services, police said. She used the money to buy food and infant care products, Brookfield police said.

A Trumbull County grand jury remanded the case to district court on misdemeanor counts of petty theft.

A felony theft case filed by Liberty police for an alleged similar crime is pending in Girard Municipal Court.
