Brookfield Middle School eighth-grade students will learn about careers from professionals, and present what they have learned in their own research, at Career Day on May 22.

More than 25 professionals have signed on to talk to students about their careers.

“Then, later that night from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the middle school gym, it’s the students time to shine,” said Marissa Miller, teacher and Career Day co-organizer. “We are opening the eighth-grade students’ career projects up to the community – where community members, teachers, parents, and maybe some of our speakers, too, will get to see the work students have completed. Each student is researching a career they are interested in and will dress the part.”
