An Aqua company worker waits for a load of gravel to fill in the hole where a water line broke Dec. 18 at Budd and Charles streets in Masury.
When Bob Barnett’s daughter woke him up at about 1 a.m. this morning, water was shooting into the air at Budd and Charles streets in Masury.
“That water was shooting as high as my chest,” Barnett said. “I never seen anything like that. It had to be a big line.”
Crews from Aqua, the local water service provider, were out this morning repairing the line. Details about the repair project and the number of customers affected were not immediately available.
