Brookfield Athletic Hall of Fame has announced the 2019 inductees.
The inductees will be recognized prior to the Nov. 1 home football game, and an induction banquet will be held at 6 p.m. Nov. 2.
Banquet tickets are on sale at the high school for $20 for adults and $5 for students in grades seven through 12.
This years’ inductees are:
James Haun – The 1952 graduate played football, basketball and baseball. He led the 1952 basketball team in scoring with 305 points.
Ernest “Bud” Bremick – A 1959 graduate, he played football, basketball and baseball. In his three seasons as the starting quarterback, Bremick led the Warriors to records of 9-0, 8-1 and 8-1.
April Vansach Elwood – The 1987 graduate played volleyball, basketball and softball. She was All-Trumbull County in softball in 1986 and 1987, and was inducted into the Hiram College Hall of Fame in 2013.
Erin Scoccia Womer – Womer participated in cross country, basketball and track, and graduated in 1990. She was a starting guard on the 1990 Lady Warrior Basketball team that was state runner up, and was named to the A.P. State All-Tournament team.
Ross Tice – A 2007 graduate, Tice was a four-year letter winner in wrestling and was named as the Eastern Ohio Wrestling League’s Most Valuable Wrestler in 2007. Tice was the state runner-up in his weight class in 2007.
